I am a seasoned educator with 4 plus years of teaching and tutoring experience. I am TEFL certified and trained in creating interactive lesson plans. Starting in Tanzania, I taught English at a local school in Karatu. Tanzania was the gateway to a career as an educator. Since then, I have held teaching positions in Cameroon, China and Morocco.

Hobbies
When I am not teaching, one can find me reading a novel, practicing Spanish, cooking up a storm in the kitchen or scaling a mountain. Learning about other cultures and meeting people from around the globe is another passion of mine. As a youngster, I was raised in the mountainous sanctuary of the Adirondacks, a national state park in New York. Before working as a Peace Corps volunteer in Morocco, my love of nature inspired me to summit Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Cameroon. Literature is another passion of mine. Since age 7, I have been an avid bookworm. Reading nonfiction, fiction or newspaper articles is a way for me to satisfy my literary appetite. Exposure to other cultures is something I truly value. Already fluent in Daarija, Moroccan Arabic, my goal is to brush up on Spanish. Learning other languages is a hobby that opens up doors to cross cultural communication. Music is a huge part of my life. With songs by Douzi, PSquare, Tamer Hosney, Grini and Hattim Amour always coursing through my headphones, it is hard not to sing along. After a day of teaching, I enjoy watching Bollywood films with Kareena Kapoor and Sharokan.
